PixSync’s
Resident Fashion Photographer
- Fortuna
In June
2008, Fortuna, PixSync’s Resident Fashion
Photographer successfully
completed a fashion photo spread for the prestigous Harper’s
magazine.
Fortuna,
has worked 7 years previously in the French cinema industry as a
free-lance
first director assistant. He was working both in long feature films and
advertising films. The meeting in 1990 with Patrick Demarchelier, a
famous French
photographer living in New-York, was the turning point into Fashion
photography
for Fortuna. Fortuna assisted Patrick on many L' OREAL adverts, working
alongside with several international top models.

"Patrick taught me the most important
thing in
photography. He
taught me the right way to speak to people. You make pictures with
words, what
you tell to your models brings the right emotion on their faces at the
right
moment,” shares Fortuna. A good
photographer needs to know how to communicate with any kind of people.
He needs
to understand, and love them. He doesn’t ask models to smile,
he makes them
smile Photography is only a question of Generosity".Fortuna
is now available for assignments in Singapore.
