IMAGING Enhances 800 Corporate PORTRAITS
PixSync's subsidiary MagicFoto.sg completes high-end photo retouching in
record time
PixSync was engaged by accounting giant Deloitte and Touché to help in
corporate portraits (headshots) photography. The project consisted of 2
parts: The first was to photograph new formal portraits of all CEO,
Directors, Partners and Associates. The second part was to enhance about 150
existing portraits previously done by another photographer, but which failed
to meet the client's strict photo guidelines from global office
headquarters. They now needed a guarantee that all images taken would be of
the same consistently high standard and PixSync was up to the challenge.
Even with a professional makeup and hair stylist on-site during the photo
shoots, the basic photo retouching process (of enhancing brightness,
contrast and colors) still needed to be complemented with advanced imaging
techniques involving careful removal of blemishes, wrinkles and stray hairs.
Further to this, all light reflections on both glasses and participant’s
eyes needed to be completely removed. Through PixSync’s in-house Digital
Imaging expertise and commitment, the entire project was completed within 5
working days only.
"Our client had very specific requests on how the corporate headshots were
to look, right down to very fine details not commonly applicable for usage
in resumes, press releases or annual reports. In all, about 800 headshots
had to undergo the intensive advanced digitizing process. We achieved this
