ALL PIXSYNC CLIENTS TO BE COVERED UNDER
NEW FOTOSAFE SCHEME
Companies To Enjoy Free Offsite Backup and Disaster Recovery of Digital
Photo Assets
What can possibly go wrong after a photography project is
completed? CD/DVDroms can get misplaced, damaged or even disappear for good when
employees leave the organization. And scientific tests have shown that the
general lifespan of CD/DVDroms are at most 10 years only, and not 100 years
as most believe. Companies need better long-term protection
for their important digital photo assets which they have invested time,
money and resources to produce.
All past and future PixSync clients are now automatically
covered under the new FOTOSAFE backup and recovery scheme. After a photo
assignment is completed, companies first receive their photos on archival
quality CD/DVDroms and at the same time, a copy is backed up at PixSync's secure
data centre. At any time in the future, companies can ask for a copy of
their photos to be generated. This service is free during the 1st year
and for a nominal administrative fee in subsequent years.
"This initiative is part of our continued efforts in
providing quality service to all our customers," said Eugene Choy,
Co-Founder of PixSync Photography. "When companies engage our photography
services, they feel confident that we are looking after their long term
interests, that their valuable digital photos will always be safely backed
up and readily available anytime."
