Progressive Documentation for a
Pharmaceutical Plant Construction
In February of 2008, PixSync
was engaged by Bovis Land Lease, a world’s leader in project management and
building construction to document the progressive assembly of its highly
intricate pharmaceutical building modules. PixSync was to undertake a
progressive photography and video record of the final construction assembly
process which involved the laying of the individual pharmaceutical blocks. The
site construction was based at Tuas, Singapore.
Over the
course of 8 weeks, the team comprising of 3 photographers and 2 videographers
was on constant standby and ready to response within a day’s notification.
Conditions favorable for a suitable shoot include dry weather conditions and
availability of the building modules as they arrived on site for the final
assembly process. Shots at all critical stages were documented from multiple
view points, angles and at different height points whenever there was an
opportunity. Exterior and interior shots of the building were also captured when
the assembly process was successfully completed.

understanding the safety regulations and having proper safety gear is compulsory

own safety equipment on all industrial assignments. Also, the company’s 3
support vehicles ensure that the crew is mobile at all times and we generally
can response in less than 1 hour from the time of notification. Together with
the project team at Bovis Land Lease, we managed to successfully document the
final critical stages of the building process.”
