PixSync was engaged early 2008 to plan, shoot and provide digital layout of a Singaporean skyline as part of Deutsche’s bank “Empowering” campaign. The project was carried out over 3 months with a production schedule that was adhered to tightly. The final 12 meter by 4 meter completed skyline of Singapore, now located at Changi Airport Terminal 3, is one of that reflects Deutsche Bank’s mission and strengths as a leading global investment bank.

“When we took on the project, we understood the scale of work. The initial part to the project involved photography of individual buildings that made up the skyline of Singapore. The photographic team only managed to carry out the photo shoot after extensive survey of shooting locations, deciding which building was to be of main focus. We also had to take note the general direction of sunlight, distance to shooting targets and choice of appropriate lens and shooting equipment in order to make the photo capture process a success. Following this, the images were carefully processed and put together to form the final campaign montage.” said Eugene Choy, Founder of PixSync Photography. “Much digital imaging work had to be carried out to combine all different elements such as the walkway, sea, building and the sky. It was critical to ensure that the image elements making up the skyline remain sharp in its details with any effects of pixilation. Again, we achieved this through close communications beginning from the planning stage, to the time the project was awarded to PixSync and all throughout the advanced imaging process.
