PIXSYNC AND MIL-COM AEROSPACE GROUP HOST SUCCESSFUL CHARITY EVENT FOR MINDS

Pixsync, a leading vertically integrated one-stop photography agency, and Mil-com, a pioneer in aerospace engineering support services and aviation training services, organized a movie event for 130 students and family members of MINDS (Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore) – Guilemard Gardens School. MINDS is one of the oldest and largest non-governmental organizations catering to the needs of the intellectually disabled since 1962.

“We strongly believe in corporate social responsibility,” said Mr Eugene Choy, Founder of PixSync Photography. “PixSync has a strong people culture and we are not only committed to meeting the needs of our staff but also that of the community. The MINDS charity event provided us with a good opportunity to encourage employee volunteerism. Furthermore, our clients have been very supportive of our efforts and we look forward to continuing our support for such worthy causes.”

The MINDS charity event, held on 29 September 2007, at Shaw Plaza, Balestier, was also supported by volunteers from the Singapore Industrial & Service Employees’ Union. Students and family members were treated to the movie, Ratatouille, and then lunch at MacDonald’s, Kallang Stadium.
